Where to check an aesthetic medicine clinic or practitioner in Taiwan
Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare provides separate searches for healthcare facilities, health professionals and aesthetic medicine records.
Short answer
The MOHW Medical Affairs Inquiry System offers facility, practitioner and aesthetic medicine searches. Check the facility and the person separately; an aesthetic medicine entry is not a treatment quality rating or outcome guarantee.
Choose the search for the question you have
- Facility: check the provider name, address, category and operating information shown in the facility search.
- Practitioner: check the person’s name and professional category in the health professional search.
- Aesthetic medicine: use the dedicated search for the listed facility or practitioner and note what record type is shown.
The three searches cover different subjects. A facility result does not prove an individual practitioner’s registration, and a practitioner result does not verify a treatment site. Aesthetic medicine records should not be read as a quality ranking or a guarantee of results.
Match the exact name and site
Use the facility’s local legal name and address when possible. If the provider’s English brand differs from the official name, compare the address and other identifiers. Keep the page URL and search date. Where the portal asks for a CAPTCHA or does not show a result, record the individual match as pending rather than treating the absence of a result as a compliance finding.
The current profiles in our provider directory use provider-published identity information where a facility-level official match has not been completed. That status is shown explicitly.
